Walking through the world\u2019s deepest Kali Gandaki gorge with views of Annapurna I rising to the east and Dhaulagiri to the west would be an unforgettable journey of your life. It offers superb views of mountains and a variety of landscapes. During this trek, the trek passes through sub-tropical alpine peaks to barren semi-desert-like landscapes. Many trekkers opt to complete the Manaslu Circuit trip instead for the same reason. Nowadays, most Annapurna Circuit Trek itineraries are shorter than the traditional three-week trek, which was once the norm.<\/p>\n<p>It makes more sense to look at the number of days rather than the distance while viewing itineraries. Make sure to complete the Annapurna Circuit Trek in at least 13 days if you want to do it perfectly with proper acclimatization. A fantastic example of a 13-day itinerary is provided here. It can also be completed in 17 days if you have additional time. Both will enable ideal acclimatization and enjoyment of the Annapurna Massif&#8217;s magnificence.<\/p>\n<h2>Annapurna circuit trek days<\/h2>\n<p>You will trek for a total of 8 days while the other 4 days will be transportation and flights.<\/p>\n<h2>Annapurna circuit trek altitude<\/h2>\n<p>Starting from Besisahar at 800 meters, above sea level the trail goes uphill gradually passing through villages such as Chame and Pisang. The elevation climbs to around 2,670 and 3,200 meters in these villages. As hikers journey towards the village of Manang nestled at 3,540 meters, they enter a ahigh-altitudee area with alpine meadows and towering peaks. The elevation gains become more noticeable as they trek to Yak Kharka, Thorong Phedi and eventually conquer the Thorong La Pass, which&#8217;s the highest point of the trek standing at 5,416 meters. After descending from the pass they reach Muktinath before heading towards Jomsom where the elevation gradually drops.
